The newest episode of Guess That Record sees Jackson speaking with Bill Gibson, the drummer and founding member of Huey Lewis and The News! Bill was behind the kit for all of the group’s biggest songs like The Power of Love, Heart and Soul, If This Is It, and Jacob’s Ladder. In addition to his drumming, Bill also frequently sang backing vocals in many of the band’s songs. In the episode, Jackson and Bill speak about how he got into music, the band’s heyday in the 1980s, and what the future holds for the group.

On this episode of Guess That Record, Jackson gets to speak with Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music! An early member of the group, Phil played guitar on all of Roxy Music’s albums which included hit songs like “Love Is the Drug,” “Jealous Guy,” and “More Than This.” In 2019, Phil and the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Phil has also worked extensively with Pink Floyd and David Gilmour, co-producing David’s “On An Island” and “Rattle That Lock” albums while also joining David on tour. In the episode, Jackson and Phil talk about hit songs from Roxy Music, his lifelong friendship with David Gilmour, and his new album “AM PM SOHO LIVE.”
