Guess That Record returns with the first episode of 2023, on the one year anniversary of our very first episode! For Episode 9, Jackson interviews Susan Rogers. Susan served as the staff engineer for Prince from 1983-1987, working on some of the biggest albums of Prince’s career including Purple Rain, Around the World in a Day, Parade, and Sign O the Times. She also worked with artists like David Byrne, Tevin Campbell, and the Barenaked Ladies (producing their hit album Stunt). After leaving the music business, she became a professor at the Berklee College of Music. In this episode, Jackson and Susan speak about how she got her start in music, and what it was like to work with Prince.
