16. Chuck Burgi

The newest episode of Guess That Record is the first to be recorded outside of Calgary, as Jackson travelled to Seattle to interview Chuck Burgi for the second time! Chuck is currently the drummer for Billy Joel, a role he’s held since 2006. Chuck has also worked with artists like Hall & Oates, Meatloaf, Blue Öyster Cult, and many more. Jackson and Chuck met up the day before Billy Joel took to the stage at T-Mobile Park to go over Chuck’s routine on the road, and how he approaches select songs from the Billy Joel songbook.

In the episode, Jackson and Ozzie talk about how he got started on trombone, working with Billy Joel, and what to expect for Bruce Springsteen’s upcoming run of European dates.
