16. Chuck Burgi

The newest episode of Guess That Record is the first to be recorded outside of Calgary, as Jackson travelled to Seattle to interview Chuck Burgi for the second time! Chuck is currently the drummer for Billy Joel, a role he’s held since 2006. Chuck has also worked with artists like Hall & Oates, Meatloaf, Blue Öyster Cult, and many more. Jackson and Chuck met up the day before Billy Joel took to the stage at T-Mobile Park to go over Chuck’s routine on the road, and how he approaches select songs from the Billy Joel songbook.

In this interview, Jackson and Pete talk about how he started recording his own music, how he saved the famous Power Station studio, and his new album “One Last Dance.”
