The biggest episode of Guess That Record to date has Jackson interviewing legendary guitarist Andy Summers from The Police! As the band’s guitar player, Andy can be heard on all of their incredible songs including Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, and Message in a Bottle. Outside of The Police, Andy has released 13 solo albums, composed film soundtracks, and has collaborated with artists like Robert Fripp, Eric Burdon, and many more. Andy has won five Grammy Awards, and in 2003 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Police. In this episode, Jackson and Andy break down select tracks from The Police’s discography, and talk about Andy’s current projects.

Guess That Record is a podcast hosted by Canadian musician Jackson Reed. Each week Jackson will sit down with a special guest for an in-depth interview about their career and experiences. Then, the guest will have to guess which album Jackson pulled from his collection, leading to a discussion about the record. A show for anyone that’s a fan of music, Guess That Record will be posting new episodes on Wednesdays!

Guess That Record returns with Jackson interviewing Midge Ure! Hailing from Scotland and having been active in music since the early 70s, Midge is best known for serving as the frontman for the band Ultravox. The group had a string of hit singles on the UK charts in the 80s including “Vienna,” and “Dancing With Tears in My Eyes.” Midge is best known for his collaboration with Bob Geldof, co-writing “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” and helping to organize Live Aid. In the interview Jackson and Midge talk about his brief stint in Thin Lizzy, performing at Live Aid with Ultravox, and his new album “A Man Of Two Worlds.”
