Floyd Sneed

Floyd Sneed was a Canadian drummer. Born and raised in Calgary, Floyd would find success as the original drummer for Three Dog Night, playing on the group’s biggest hits such as Joy to the World, Mama Told Me Not to Come, and Shambala. Floyd also performed with with groups such as SS Fools, and Tommy Chong’s band Little Daddy and the Bachelors.

Guess That Record is a podcast hosted by Canadian musician Jackson Reed. Each week Jackson will sit down with a special guest for an in-depth interview about their career and experiences. Outside of Toto, he’s worked with Yes, Don Henley, and Michael Jackson. For the latter, Steve wrote one of the biggest hits off of the Thriller album, “Human Nature.” In this episode, Jackson and Steve talk about his upbringing in a musical family, why he became the go-to expert on synthesizers, and his new record!
