Guess That Record is a podcast that is hosted by Jackson Reed, with new episodes being posted regularly. Guess That Record has a passion for giving artists an outlet to share themselves and their music in an intimate setting. The podcast features interviews with well-known people in the music business, along with lesser known and unsigned artists. Through this podcast the interviewee gets the chance to be exposed on multiple levels; the fan gets a chance to listen to music they know and love through a new medium along the way getting to hear other music from across the world.

Eugene Foley is the head of Foley Entertainment, which has been creating opportunities for musicians since 1989. Some of the artists Eugene (or Gene for short) has worked with include Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, U2, and Guess That Record’s very own Jackson Reed. He is best known for his longtime collaboration with Bryan Adams, where his co-writing credits include Cuts Like A Knife, Summer of 69, and Heaven, which reached number one in the US. Jim has also worked with artists like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Glass Tiger, Kiss, and many more.
Hank Shteamer
Hank Shteamer is an American writer who previously served as a senior music editor for Rolling Stone. Besides Rolling Stone, Hank’s writing has also been featured in publications like the New York Times, GQ, Pitchfork, and 33 ⅓. He is also a musician who has performed with bands like STATS.
Mitchell Brady
Mitchell Brady is the lead singer and guitarist for The Static Shift, a band from Calgary, AB. that plays music inspired by classic rock. The Static Shift’s songs have reached the top 10 of the Canada Active Rock Charts, and the band has shared the stage with artists like Kansas and Trooper.
Kelly Hrudey
Kelly Hrudey is a Canadian hockey player who spent 15 years in the NHL as a goalie with the New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks. Since retiring from playing, Kelly has worked as a broadcaster. He is currently with Sportsnet where he appears on Hockey Night in Canada and Calgary Flames games.

Jake Shimabukuro
Jake Shimabukuro is an American musician. Born and raised in Hawaii, Jake has become one of the world’s greatest ukulele players. A highly sought after performer, Jake has had the chance to work with legends such as Jimmy Buffett, Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, and Kenny Loggins. His newest album “Blues Experience,” is a collaboration with Mick Fleetwood.
Jem Finer
Jem Finer is a British musician and artist. Jem was a founding member of The Pogues, where he played banjo on all of their albums. He also helped write many of their most well known songs including “Sunny Side of the Street,” “Misty Morning, Albert Bridge,” and the all-time Christmas classic “Fairytale of New York.” Jem has been involved in many projects outside of The Pogues, most notably composing “Longplayer,” a piece of music that lasts for 1000 years.
Barry Danielian
Barry Danielian is an American musician and composer. As an in demand trumpet player, Barry has worked with some of the biggest artists in music. Most notably, he’s a member of the E Street Band with Bruce Springsteen, touring with Springsteen since 2012. Barry has also appeared on multiple Springsteen albums including “The Promise,” “Western Stars,” and “Only the Strong Survive.” Besides that, Barry has worked with Billy Joel, Sting, Elton John, and many more.
