5. Hot City Horns

After a lengthy hiatus, Guess That Record returns for a brand new run of episodes! This week sees Jackson interviewing the Hot City Horns, a horn section based out of London, England featuring Paul Burton on Trombone, Mike Davis on Trumpet, and Kenji Fenton on Saxophone. Since 2018, they’ve been touring with Paul McCartney, appearing with him in stadiums all over the world on his Freshen Up and Got Back tours. They’ve also performed with artists such as Olly Murs, Jess Glynne, and Emeli Sandé. In this episode, Jackson speaks with the guys about their musical upbringing, how they became a group, and what it’s like to work with a living Beatle.

In this amazing episode of Guess That Record, Jackson interviews professional hockey player and fellow musician Devin Cooley! Playing as a goalie, Devin is signed with the Calgary Flames, and is currently playing for their AHL affiliate the Calgary Wranglers. He has played professionally for five years, and made his NHL debut last season with his hometown team the San Jose Sharks. Jackson and Devin caught up in-person after the Wranglers practice in Calgary to speak about Devin’s hockey career, and his love for music.
