Jenna is best known for her work with BTS, for which she co-wrote “Butter” and “Permission To Dance.” Both songs reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to BTS, she’s also worked with artists like Nelly Furtado, Roy Woods, Noah Cyrus, Drake, Benee, and Dixie D’Amelio. In the episode, Jackson and Jenna talk about their shared experiences growing up in Calgary, how Jenna pivoted from artist to songwriter, and what’s being done to raise awareness about mental health issues in the music industry.

Playing as a goalie, Devin is signed with the Calgary Flames, and is currently playing for their AHL affiliate the Calgary Wranglers. He has played professionally for five years, and made his NHL debut last season with his hometown team the San Jose Sharks. Jackson and Devin caught up in-person after the Wranglers practice in Calgary to speak about Devin’s hockey career, and his love for music.
