It’s the first episode of Guess That Record, and Jackson has a chat with guest Eugene Foley. Eugene, or Gene for short, is the head of Foley Entertainment, a company that has been helping musicians gain exposure since 1989. Some of Gene’s clients include Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, U2, and Guess That Record’s very own Jackson Reed. Jackson and Gene talk about Foley Entertainment and how it got started, and having crazy moments like hanging out with the surviving members of Led Zeppelin and Mick Jagger.

Guess That Record is a podcast hosted by Canadian musician Jackson Reed. Each week Jackson will sit down with a special guest for an in-depth interview about their career and experiences. Then, the guest will have to guess which album Jackson pulled from his collection, leading to a discussion about the record. He also helped write many of their most well known songs including “Sunny Side of the Street,””Misty Morning, Albert Bridge,” and the all-time Christmas classic “Fairytale of New York.” In the episode, Jackson and Jem discuss how Shane MacGowan turned him on to Irish music, behind the scenes stories from The Pogues discography, and how Jem created a piece of music that lasts for 1000 years.
